My friends can’t understand why it makes me upset, and then most of them get nervous if I head to the same bathroom as them at the same time. Not sure if it’s because I’m a transman or because I’m gay, though. I just always try to know where the least-used bathroom is and use that to avoid other people, and if there is someone there and I’m not about to explode, I’ll wait or find another one, even if I have to walk down the street. Though at least I use the men’s room about 75% of the time. Shark week is always iffy and I try to avoid public restrooms altogether (even more than usual). I don’t care if I’m going to be ten minutes late to class, I’ll walk back to my dorm room from the other side of campus. …and then skip class because I don’t want my professor to think I showed up late because I don’t care about the class.
